Vincent van Gogh replica oil paintings for sale

Vincent Van Gogh’s masterpieces are one-of-a-kind, and not everyone can own them. But if you have a lot of favourite paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, then you can opt for oil reproductions and decorate your house with the bright colours of Van Gogh’s paintings.

At Kunstmuseum Bern, you will find Van Gogh’s Two Cut Sunflowers painting, which is a part of the Sunflower series.

Van Gogh did two sets of Sunflower series – one was done in Paris and another in Arles. In the Paris series, sunflowers are cut and laying on the ground. But in the Arles series, the sunflowers are placed inside a vase.

The Two Cut Sunflowers are obviously a part of the Paris series of paintings. Painted on a 50 x 61 cm canvas, this painting showcases two sunflowers lying on the ground. There are varying shades of yellow used with quick and short brush strokes. According to Van Gogh, he found sunflowers complicated, after all, they would turn to the sun during the day, and then turn their heads back.

Some of the other paintings in this series are housed at Sompo Japan Museum of Art, Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and National Gallery of London.
