- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
‘Head of a Woman' served as exercise for Van Gogh's masterpiece ‘The Potato Eaters’. The Van Gogh Museum combined this iconic portrait from his time in Nuenen with a black frame with a wide golden lining.
This vintage frame we found was an easy match with our reproduction of 'Head of a Woman'. And the effect is stunning. It brings out the white of her cap and the warm colors of her face. The gold works as an homage to the peasant that Van Gogh wanted to portray respectfully.
