When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.

- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

About this painting
Thatched Cottages in the Sunshine replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio is located in Amsterdam, near the Van Gogh museum where we can study the original works. Our paintings are all painted in oil on canvas by mainly Dutch artists who have studied Van Gogh's technique, including brushstrokes, color mixing, atmosphere and the rhythm of painting.Reminiscences of the north
Vincent van Gogh wrote to Theo van Gogh from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence:"While I was ill I nevertheless still did a few small canvases from memory which you’ll see later, reminiscences of the north."
Van Gogh's incredible imagination
Thatched Cottages in the Sunshine was created during the last year of Van Gogh's life while he was undergoing treatment at an asylum in Saint-Rémy, located in the breathtaking South of France. Despite having limited access to the outdoors, Van Gogh was able to channel his incredible imagination and paint a stunning landscape that depicts his memories of the Dutch countryside.A tribute to Brabant.
The thatched-roofed cottages that dot the painting are a beautiful tribute to his homeland, and they showcase Van Gogh's exceptional talent for capturing the essence of a place.Buy a hand-painted reproduction of Van Gogh's Thatched Cottages in the Sunshine
