- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

Our paintings are all painted in oil on canvas by mainly Dutch artists who have studied Van Gogh's technique, including brushstrokes, color mixing, atmosphere and the rhythm of painting.A few days in the fishing village
During his stay in Arles in late May 1888, Vincent van Gogh visited Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer on the Mediterranean and was captivated by the changing colors of the sea. He spent a few days in the fishing village and created nine drawings, two paintings of beach scenes and seascapes, and one painting of the village itself.Warm light of the Mediterranean
The painting features rows of cultivated plants that lead to the village center with the church, and showcases the different colored surfaces of the houses built close together. Van Gogh used warm and light tints for the sides of the houses facing the sun, and blue for the shadow sides.The painting also reflects the light of Provence, with the dominant color being the "green blue of the sky heated white-hot," as described by the artist in one of his letters.
