- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Enclosed Field with Ploughman replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio is located in Amsterdam, near the Van Gogh museum where we can study the original works. Our paintings are all painted in oil on canvas by mainly Dutch artists who have studied Van Gogh's technique, including brushstrokes, color mixing, atmosphere and the rhythm of painting. From his bedroom
During May 1889, Van Gogh was admitted to a mental institution in Saint-Rémy, where he created a series of paintings inspired by the view from his barred window. This landscape is a part of that series, and it closely resembles the description that Van Gogh shared with his brother, Theo, in a letter dated August 30th. In the letter, he described a field of yellow stubble being ploughed, with hills in the background. From memory
While the scene captures the essence of what Van Gogh saw from his window, the distant windmills that are visible in the painting were not present in reality. They were instead an addition that Van Gogh included from his memory of the view, as he painted the scene several months later. You may also like to read:
