Vincent van Gogh in a letter to his brother on 8 September 1888:

"My dear Theo, thank you a thousand times for your kind letter and the 300 francs it contained - after some weeks of worries I’ve just had a much better one.”

Would you also like to make a difference?

You can! On top of it you have a chance to win a hand-painted replica in oil on canvas of Starry Night (or any other Van Gogh painting of your choice) by just donating 1 dollar.

Help the people in Venezuela and you may win.

Nancy Martineza Martinez has done a lot for the Van Gogh community on Facebook with the Vincent van Gogh group in the past and recently with the Van Gogh New Group.

Nancy is from Venezuela. A country that is suffering from hyperinflation. An average worker in Venezuela has a basic salary of $2 a month. That is why so many are malnourished and are suffering from hunger now.

Update December 15th: and the winner is... Diane Berry, congratulations!
Of course donations are still welcome to buy more food for people in Venezuela.
