- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Just outside the city walls of Arles is an ancient Roman cemetery called Les Ayscamps (compare with Les Champs Elysées) with poplars and sarcophagi. Van Gogh made a few paintings there in Autumn.
This so called ’lover’s lane’ was known for couples taking a romantic stroll towards a Roman chapel.
The dark brown 50-year-old Dutch frame sets the falling leaves in the painting on fire. Again Van Gogh found the warm colors of the South he had been looking for and scenery ideal to express his emotions.

Painting size: 18,7 x 23,7 cm / 7.4 x 9.3 inch
