When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.

- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

About this painting
Houses at l'Estaque by Georges Braques reproduction in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio is located in Amsterdam, and our collection consists solely of oil paintings on canvas created by primarily Dutch artists. We have devoted our time to studying the painting methods of Van Gogh and other renowned painters from the past and carefully examined their brushstrokes, color mixing, mood, and overall approach to painting.Influenced by Cézanne
Braque's artistic journey took a fascinating turn when he encountered Cézanne's art. Until that point, Braque had been painting in the Fauvist style, but the encounter with Cézanne's work ignited a spark of curiosity and experimentation in him. This newfound inspiration is evident in his masterpiece, Houses at l'Estaque, which showcases Braque's bold experimentation with new techniques and styles.Artistic evolution
The Houses at l'Estaque painting is a true masterpiece that encapsulates Braque's artistic evolution. This piece uses a captivating, muted color palette that exudes a natural, earthy vibe, and this later became a hallmark of Braque's signature style. It's awe-inspiring to see how one single encounter could spark such a revolution in an artist's creative journey, and Houses at l'Estaque is a testament to Braque's artistic prowess and passion.Buy a hand-painted reproduction of Georges Braques' Houses at l'Estaque.
