Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

Product description
Nighthawks by Edward Hopper replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam offers expertly painted oil reproductions of iconic artworks. While our roots lie in Dutch masters, we also honor American realists like Edward Hopper. His "Nighthawks" is one of the most recognizable and haunting images in 20th-century art — a quiet night filled with unspoken stories.Isolation in the city that never sleeps
Painted in 1942, "Nighthawks" shows a late-night diner on a street corner, its fluorescent glow cutting through the darkness. The figures inside seem close, yet disconnected — strangers sharing space, but not connection. Hopper’s ability to portray urban loneliness with elegance is unmatched.A masterpiece of mood and composition
With its sharp lines, deep shadows, and carefully balanced color palette, "Nighthawks" draws the viewer into its stillness. The glass, the counter, the silence — every element adds to the painting’s mysterious and cinematic atmosphere. It’s not just a scene; it’s a feeling.Buy a painted reproduction of Hopper’s Nighthawks
The original resides in the Art Institute of Chicago and is not for sale. But with our high-quality painted reproduction, you can bring the quiet intensity of Hopper’s vision into your own space. We’re confident you’ll be moved by this iconic painting — and if not, we offer a full money-back guarantee.
