Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Olive Orchard replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio can be found in close proximity to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, where you can view the original works of this iconic artist. Our studio specializes in creating oil paintings on canvas that are crafted by skilled Dutch artists who have dedicated themselves to studying Van Gogh's techniques, such as his brushstrokes, color combinations, atmospheric effects, and painting rhythm.A grasshopper has been discovered in the painting!
Olive Orchard is currently housed at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City and contains a tiny, brown carcass of a grasshopper that had gone unnoticed for over a century. This incredible discovery was made by a team of passionate and dedicated curators, conservators and scientists who studied the artwork closely. It's an amazing testament to van Gogh's practice of painting outdoors, where he braved the elements, including wind, dust, sand, and, apparently, crickets!
Van Gogh's connection to nature
This grasshopper is a small but significant reminder of the artist's deep connection to nature and his ability to capture its essence in his artwork.Buy a hand-painted reproduction of Van Gogh's Olive Orchard
