Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night is among the world’s most iconic paintings. This post-impressionistic masterpiece is visited by millions of people in the MoMa in New York every year. And it may have inspired billions of people all over the world who don't have the chance to see the original.
Is it Van Gogh’s perception 'I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day’ that makes people dream over Starry Night? Do the stars over Saint-Rémy-de-Provence connect us with Vincent van Gogh and inspire us to find our passion and follow our dreams like he did?
We are over the moon with the replica that Dutch master painter Nard Kwast replicated to perfection. The colors, the brushstrokes, the unpainted parts of the canvas are exactly like the original and capture Van Gogh’s essence.
The 300-year-old Louis XV style Italian frame misses some parts after all the years that it survived. A mind blowing idea to realize this frame was already 150 years old when Van Gogh painted Starry Night. It seems made for it with so much character, contrasting the blues and highlighting the yellow and earthy colors in the painting.
The frame size of 41,4 x 50 cm / 16.3 x 19.7 inch makes this a more than cute replica. The best ever and at the same time humble attempt to honor Vincent van Gogh?
This painting is for sale but delivery is some time in 2024 after it stars in a documentary. It may shine in the MoMa next to the original and in the asylum where Van Gogh painted Starry Night from his bedroom. Please contact us for details.
