Made of carved solid wood with decorative gesso details, the frame has an aged gold finish with a darker natural patina in the recesses. This creates real depth and beautifully highlights the relief of the carving. The visible wear, small cracks in the gesso and the untouched vintage surface give it authenticity and warmth rather than perfection.
