- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

And yes you are buying real antique here. This frame was made in Van Gogh's era: late 19th century. It is carved and wood gilt with gold leaf, in good condition with only small signs of ageing (see photo of details above), with a weight of 2,5 kg.
At the end of his life Vincent van Gogh painted several masterpieces in double square size. We were lucky to get this antique frame in these particular proportions and in this condition at an auction, perfectly matching Van Gogh’s Wheat Field under Thunderclouds.
The size of the frame is 37 x 57,5 cm / 14.57 x 22.64 inch
The size of the painting is 18,5 x 38,8 cm / 7.28 x 15.28 inch
