Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

Poppy Flowers replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio is located in Amsterdam, near the Van Gogh museum where we can study the original works. Our paintings are all painted in oil on canvas by mainly Dutch artists who have studied Van Gogh's technique, including brushstrokes, color mixing, atmosphere and the rhythm of painting.Stolen twice
Poppy Flowers was taken from the Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum in Cairo on two separate occasions. The first theft occurred in 1977 but the painting was later retrieved after ten years. Unfortunately, the painting was stolen again in August 2010 and is still missing.Van Gogh's admiration for Adolphe Monticelli
This painting depicts a vase filled with vibrant yellow and red poppies set against a dark background. It serves as a testament to Van Gogh's profound respect for Adolphe Monticelli, an established painter whose work greatly impacted him during his time in Paris in 1886.You may like to read:
