- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.

- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
When Van Gogh moved from Paris to the South of France he found the warm light and bright colors he was looking for in Arles. From there he visited the town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in summer. The ever changing colors of the Mediterranean Sea overwhelmed him. This was nothing like the sea at Scheveningen that he painted in 1882.
Vincent painted the sea from the beach: little grains of sand are still found in the paint. We didn’t go so far as to paint from the beach. But you can definitely lose yourself in the colors of this hand-painted replica like the original painting keeps you dreaming.
The effect of changing colors is enhanced by this beautiful antique Italian frame. Every hour of the day the frame and the painting seem to be different. The angle of the sunlight on the gold can highlight the greens and then a bit later the blues and then at once the reds come up. It is as much alive as the sea that Van Gogh witnessed.
