Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.

About this painting
Self-Portrait with Cigarette by Edvard Munch replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam offers painted oil reproductions of iconic and expressive works of art. Edvard Munch’s "Self-Portrait with Cigarette" is a bold exploration of identity, rebellion, and inner turmoil — painted at a time when the artist challenged societal norms and personal demons.Rebellion and reflection
Created in 1895, this striking self-portrait shows Munch emerging from the shadows, a cigarette in hand, his gaze both defiant and uncertain. It caused scandal at the time for its unorthodox presentation of masculinity and decadence. The work stands as a statement of independence — both artistic and psychological.Expressionist tension and atmosphere
With moody lighting, loose brushwork, and psychological intensity, "Self-Portrait with Cigarette" reflects Munch’s distinctive approach to capturing the emotional and existential experience of modern life. It invites viewers not just to look at the artist, but to confront their own sense of self.Buy a painted reproduction of Munch’s Self-Portrait with Cigarette
The original is held at the National Gallery in Oslo and is not for sale.
