Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.

Product description
"I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.” - Vincent van Gogh
Just three years after Van Gogh painted "The Potato Eaters" and several other dark artworks during his time in Nuenen, Van Gogh experienced a transformative shift in Paris under the influence of the Impressionists, inspiring him to embrace brighter hues.
Seeking the warmth of sunlight and vibrant tones, Vincent went southward to the French countryside, where he famously produced his iconic Sunflower series in vivid yellows. However, even his nocturnal scenes showed luminosity. "Starry Night," "Cafe Terrace," "Road with Cypress and Star," and "Starry Night over the Rhone" exemplify his fascination with capturing the radiance of the night.
In "Starry Night over the Rhone," the stars sparkle vividly against the deep blue expanse of the night sky, while the lights shine from houses along the Rhone riverbanks create mesmerizing reflections on the water, enhancing the painting's mysterious ambiance.
This antique Italian frame, dating back a century, has been lovingly restored with wood and gilded accents, accentuating the brilliance of the stars and water reflections. It remains in superb condition, showing only minimal signs of age.
Frame size: 42,7 x 52,6 cm / 16.8 x 20.7 inch
