Frequently asked questions
- Are your paintings hand-painted or printed?
- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Master painter Cees van Loon painted Van Gogh's Sower in 1989 after extensive research in the Van Gogh Museum. Having enjoyed his replica for a long time himself, it is now time it moves to the next generation.
The sublte golden lining in the black frame does some magic. The lemon and yellow colors in the painting lighten up and bring the sower to life.
Van Gogh managed to express a lot of emotion into this painting. His homage to peasants was painted in 1888 while living in the Yellow House in Arles with Gauguin.
Frame size: 39,5 x 49,5 cm / 15.5 x 19.5 inch
Painting size: 29 x 39 cm / 11.4 x 15.3 inch
