- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

During the time he painted "Olive Trees with the Alpilles in the Background," Van Gogh had already spent a year at the asylum and was still in a troubled state of mind. Some art historians suggest that the red-headed man in the painting represents a self-portrait, with the female companion symbolizing the company he longed for. The couple is depicted walking freely through the trees with a dog at twilight, which may have provided Van Gogh with a glimpse of the life and freedom he craved.
