- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
Van Gogh made no less than 35 paintings and drawings of this church tower that was visible from the garden of his home in Nuenen. While Van Gogh lived in Nuenen the 12th-century tower was being demolished after it had collapsed.
With the work of the painter Jacob van Ruisdael in mind Vincent van Gogh painted the beauty of the wide Dutch countryside with the sun shining through some parts of the clouds lightening up some of the meadows and the cemetery. The foundation of this church tower still exists and can be visited in Nuenen.
This very special Dutch art deco style gilded wooden frame from around 1930 is in beautiful condition with only small signs of wear. Although it is a solid 2.8 kg frame with 6cm depth and rich golden appearance it doesn’t distract from the painting. It actually enhances the depth of the flat countryside that Van Gogh loved so much.
Some of the red base of the frame can be seen and magically brings up the warm tones of the painting. Just like the sun is playing with the landscape it seems to bring the frame alive as well.
