- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of smaller paintings with antique frames.

- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

About this painting
It took Vincent van Gogh relatively long to create this painting. The night effect of the landscape around the asylum in Saint-Rémy was mainly painted in his studio by heart. Van Gogh was not easily satisfied. As a real post-impressionist he wanted emotion in the painting. Not just an impression of his surroundings.
This dark vintage frame enhances the powerful colors of the painting. At the same time the subtle carvings and brown tones in the frame are in line with the natural earthy look of the Provencal landscape.
