- All our Van Gogh reproductions are hand-painted in oil on canvas. You will not only see, but also feel and smell the brush strokes. Just like the original Van Gogh paintings.
- What are your delivery times?
- When the painting you want to order is in stock ("Now in Stock" mentioned where you select size) we usually send it the day after your order and estimated delivery outside of Europe by DHL is 3-4 days later.
Please view the Van Gogh reproductions in stock by clicking here.
When the painting of your choice is not in stock, delivery usually takes 6 - 7 weeks.
- Do the paintings come framed?
- No, we send the paintings rolled in a hard plastic tube for maximum protection. To ship frames would also be very expensive and there is more chance of damage. We do have a selection of small paintings with antique frames.
This video may help to select the right frame at your local framer.
- Can we visit Van Gogh Studio in Amsterdam?
- We don't have a gallery at the moment. But you are welcome at Bistrot Neuf at Haarlemmerstraat 9 in Amsterdam for a Van Gogh Menu lunch. During lunch, hand-painted replicas by Van Gogh Studio hang on the walls around you.

The Cows replica in oil on canvas
Van Gogh Studio is located in Amsterdam, near the Van Gogh museum where we can study the original works. Our paintings are all painted in oil on canvas by mainly Dutch artists who have studied Van Gogh's technique, including brushstrokes, color mixing, atmosphere and the rhythm of painting. Our copy of Van Gogh's copy of Gachet's copy?
During his stay in Auvers-sur-Oise with Doctor Gachet, Vincent van Gogh painted a replica of a study by Jacob Jordaens. However, rather than copying the original painting directly, van Gogh instead used an etching by Doctor Gachet, who had signed it with his artist name, Paul van Ryssel, as a reference.Unique interpretation
This painting is just one of many replicas that van Gogh created during his career, as he often studied the works of other artists in order to develop his own style and techniques. By using Doctor Gachet's etching as a guide, van Gogh was able to create a unique interpretation of Jordaens' original study, imbuing it with his own distinctive style and flair.Van Gogh's admiration for the works of other great artists
Despite the fact that the painting is a copy, it remains a fascinating glimpse into Van Gogh's artistic process and his deep admiration for the works of other great artists. By studying and recreating the works of those who came before him, van Gogh was able to forge a path that was entirely his own, ultimately leaving an indelible mark on the world of art that endures to this day.You may also like to read:
